Designed as a family retreat, this house is conceived around a courtyard, with built form strung along its three edges and an infinity pool marking the edge along the open end.

Two linear bands, housing Bed rooms follow the natural profile of the site, resulting in skewed proportions of this court, opening up spectacular views of the surrounding lake as well as mountains against reflections in the pool.

Deep Verandah’s abutting the family areas allow the interiors to extend into protected outdoor spaces, forming a threshold between the Central court and the Living areas.

The built form occupies a minimal foot print, with majority of the open spaces imagined for various recreational activities carefully articulated through landscape design.
