An Office interior for Coraplast, a company associated with the dyestuff industry, is located within an industrial campus at Vapi, Gujarat. Here all primary spaces are organized about a peripheral corridor, allowing each zone to function independently, while also being interconnected within a single floor plate.
Owing to its double height, this peripheral corridor assumes the scale of a ceremonial walk way - linking the ‘Arrival’ to the Director’s office and a conference to the east, with the dining to the west.
All the glass partitions have been organized parallel to the glazing of the external shell, maximizing transparency, allowing natural light to pierce through the depth of the interior.
A dense row of trees and a well-maintained garden offer a much-needed buffer within a busy industrial landscape.
